Petola(Luffa) Rice Porridge

I have only about 30 minutes to prepare my lunch this morning. I quickly cut the petola/ketola (luffa). Here is my ingredients for this delicious rice porridge:

1 young luffa (remove the hard vein)
1 cube vegetable stock
1/2 cup dried anchovies(cleaned and wash)
2 red hot peppers
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 egg
1/2 cup rice (basmathi)
5 cups water
salt and pepper to taste



In a big skillet, boil water with chopped garlic, cube vegetable stock, hot peppers, ketola and rice. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Turn heat on low and cover until rice cook about 20 minutes.

  2. Jun,I find porridge is helthier. Letak kicap sikit and ikan masin. Sedap!
