This is my first taste for kohlrabi. I am glad this bulky bulb is delicious. It taste a bit tart than jicama(sengkuang). Actually this kohlrabi tasted like the core of cabbage. Very earthy in delicous way. I used half of this big bulb. I cut it into matchstick. I stir fry the kohlrabi with onion, sambal olek (cili boh), oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce and a table spoon on crispy prawn chilli. Once the kohlrabi is soften, I added the japanese noodle and 1/4 cup water. I have this simple meal with a glass of cincau (grass jelly) in soy milk.
