Buttered Peas with Sweet Potato and Jicama

The weather is super hot today. I was working in the garden since morning until noon. I picked some sugar snap peas and here is my simple recipe for my lunch today.

Ingredients:
1 bowl of sugar snap peas. Remove the vein.
1/2 bowl of sugar snap pea shoots
2 small sweet potatoes. Julienned.
1 small jicama. Julienned.
1/2 stick salted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper.

Method:
In a big skillet, add butter and sweet potatoes.
Then add the pea shoots. Stir.
After 1 minute, add the peas. Stir for another 5 minutes.
Add salt and black pepper.
Lastly, add the jicama.
Stir for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Serve warm or cold.
