Mee Bandung

I ordered a pack of Mee Bandung gravy mix from my auntie last year and just had the time to cook it. This Mee Bandung gravy mix is loaded with all the good stuff that create a distinct Mee Bandung taste. It has peanuts, dried shrimp, all incorporate in the blend.
All I have to do is to boil water, about 2 cups. Add the gravy mix and let it simmer. Then I add fish ball, shrimp and edamame.
I don't have regular Asian yellow noodle so I used angel hair spaghetti noodle instead. I cook the spaghetti first. Drain the water. Serve the noodle in a bowl and pour the gravy mix on the noodle. Walla! Mee Bandung is ready and I swear that his mee bandung taste better the next day. Enjoy!

  6. Vg, make a list before you head out to the Asian store. I am making a list for myself too because there's a new and bigger Asian store will be open in my area at the end of the month. I am excited. I hope they sell ready made spices I like.
