Micowaved Keropok

My sister told me that she saw her friend microwaved the fish keropok.

So, I gave it a try. I bought fish Keropok and shrimp Keropok under the Kimodo brand and lay them on a plate.
Keropok are deep fried crackers made from starch and other ingredients that usually give the taste. Prawn based keropok are popular types of keropok. They are called keropok udang in Bahasa Melayu.

I microwaved the keropok less than 1 minute. If microwave too long, the keropok might burned.
From now on, I don't have to heat the grease to fry the keropok. By microwaving them, the keropok stay dry and no oily cooking smell lingering in the house.

I find the fish keropok cooked easier and tasted better than the shrimp keropok.
