I like briyani rice. I am blessed for able to buy basmathi rice. Although it is a bit pricey but it last for a long time in my house.
Ingredients for briyani Rice:
2 cups basmathi rice
2 cups 2% milk
1/2 cup water
3 garlic
1 red onion
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 2-inches cinnamon stick
2 star anise
1/2 teaspoon powdered cloves
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon dry parsley flakes.

Method:
In a big pot, heat butter on medium heat.
Saute onion, garlic, ginger.
Add star anise, cloves, cinnamon stick, cumin, coriander.
Add rice. Fry for 1 minute.
Add milk and water.
Add turmeric powder and salt.
Add parsley.
Turn the heat to low. Cover.
Once the water is dry, stir and turn the heat to warm. Cover. Let it steam for 10 minutes.
Turn off the stove.

For the fried chicken, rub turmeric powder and salt on the drumstick.
Heat olive oil in the frying pan.
Dust the chicken with flour.
Fry for 10 minutes on one side and turn.
Fry another 10 minutes on the other side until chicken cooked.
It is important to cook chicken thoroughly.
Un-cooked chicken could kill.
Serve these dishes warm.
