Apple Hash Brown

I have an idea for this recipe after watching Racheal Ray on foodnetwork channel. I changed Rachael's recipe by adding meatballs. I cooked this hash brown this morning for my sahur (breakfast before fasting). You can make this dish for anytime of the day.

1 cooked potato (hard boiled or in microwave for 6 minutes)
1 apple (Any kind. I used washington red delicious apple)
1 onion
5 meatballs
salt and pepper to taste
pinch of cumin
pinch of coriander
pinch of cinnamon powder
pinch of clove powder

Method: Dice potato and apple about half inch size. Chop onion small. In a medium heat pan, sautee the onion until translucent. Then cook the meatballs that has been quartered each. Add cumin, coriander, cinnamon and clove powder into the pan. Cook for a minute or two. Then add apple. Cook for another 5 minutes. Add diced potato. Add salt and pepper. Cook for another 10 minutes or until dish brown. Serve warm. Serve by itself or as side dish with grilled sandwich.
