Savory Bitter Lettuce

I have been searching the best way to cook my bitter lettuces. This is one of the recipe I invented today.
First step is to blanch the bitter lettuce.
Pluck the lettuce from the stalk. Wash each leave. Then cut the lettuce into 3/4 inch size across.
In a pot, boil water with a spoonful of salt.
Once water boil, throw in the cut lettuce.
Give it about 4 minutes in the hot water. Turn the stove off.
Drain and press the water out of the lettuce.
In a skillet, brown shredded coconut dry (sangan). Do not use any oil.
